Our children deserve the truth. Our teachers deserve freedom. Our communities deserve better.

I am running for the State Board of Education because Texas classrooms are at a breaking point. Not because of children. Not because of teachers. But because politics has invaded a place where it does not belong.

For years, I have watched extremists try to turn our classrooms into battlegrounds for culture wars. These battles do not help a single child or lift a single community. I have seen students denied books that help them think, history that helps them understand, and science that helps them succeed. I have watched teachers be silenced, punished, or pushed out simply for doing the jobs they were trained and trusted to do.

And like so many parents, I have seen my own children affected by a system strained by fear, censorship, instability, and political interference.

When our classrooms suffer, our children suffer. When our teachers suffer, our future suffers.
That is why I am running.

⭐ I am running because truth matters.

Students deserve honest history, not rewritten narratives created to comfort adults.
They deserve literature that challenges them, inspires them and expands their world, not book lists narrowed to satisfy political talking points. They deserve science based on evidence, research and reality, not ideology.

Education must prepare our children for the world as it is, not the world some wish it to be.

⭐ I am running because teachers deserve respect and protection.

Teachers are leaving the profession in numbers we have never seen. Not because they do not love their students, but because they are under attack. They are accused, scrutinized, surveilled, censored and blamed.

Our teachers are exhausted.
Not from the work. From the warfare.

I am running so teachers can teach without fear.
So they can choose materials that meet state standards without worrying who might twist it into a headline.
So their expertise, their training and their professionalism finally receive the respect they are owed.

⭐ I am running because public schools belong to all of us, not just the loudest few.

Every child in every classroom deserves a place where they are safe, welcomed, challenged and free to think.

Public schools do not belong to politicians.
They do not belong to extremists.
They do not belong to one ideology, one party, one religion or one demographic.

They belong to the public.
They belong to all of us and to every child we send through those doors.

⭐ I am running because our children’s future is worth fighting for.

This moment is bigger than politics.
It is about whether our children will inherit a world shaped by truth or by censorship…
By curiosity or by fear…
By opportunity or by limitation.

I refuse to accept a future where students are shielded from knowledge instead of empowered by it.
Where teachers walk on eggshells instead of walking with confidence.
Where the curriculum is rewritten to suit ideology instead of serving learning.

I am running because our children deserve a future rooted in honesty, courage, and possibility, not political agendas.

⭐ And I am running because the people of District 7 deserve a representative who listens, understands, and refuses to back down when our classrooms are under attack.

This campaign is not about me.
It is about every student who has been silenced.
Every teacher who has been pushed out.
Every parent wants their child to learn in peace.
Every community that believes in the power of public education.

I am running to restore what has been lost: trust, freedom, truth, and hope.
And together, we will bring all of it back.
